I found if there is only one Exchange account added the Outlook profile, then it will work fine. I've just had the same experience here, and this was the cause for us. So the issue was with an outlook Appdata file however I am not sure which one was at fault. After logging back in the issue no longer exists! However I though the appdata was the right place to look so I renamed the users profile to. I tried recreating the outlook profile and renaming the files within the users local appdata but unfortunately it did not resolve the issue. \outlook.old and re-run Outlook (creating a new profile and new address book files? As i know the recipient autocorrect lives in there so maybe the from cache does too.? Maybe try closing outlook and Skype4Bus if you have it open and rename the %localappdata%\microsoft\outlook folder to. The Caching of From addresses works even if you do not have send-as permissions. This means the end user has to manually type the address in every time When I add it to the from field it allows us to send an email as the shared mailbox but doesn't save to the list for next time. The shared mailbox is appearing in outlook as it usually would but It doesn't show in the From list automatically.
